Norwegian National Advisory Unit on Rehabilitation in Rheumatology collects, develops and communicates information about rehabilitation for people with rheumatic diseases.

Norwegian National Advisory Unit on Rehabilitation in Rheumatology.

​The aim is to strengthen the scientific basis for multidiciplinary interventions and rehabilitation for people with rheumatic diseases through research and professional developement. In addition to developing and operating a variety of research projects, Norwegian National Advisory Unit on Rehabilitation in Rheumatology also provides counselling, training and teaching for health professionals.

Norwegian National Advisory Unit on Rehabilitation in Rheumatology currently has affiliated 23 full- or parttime staff employees including 13 with PhD. There are currently 35 different ongoing research projects in the department. These prosjects adress developement of guidelines and quality indicators, developement and assessment of instruments and outcome measures, and effect studies of various rehabilitation interventions an programs.
